Our first meeting's turnout was so much bigger than we could have dreamed! Thank you for showing up and getting involved with us. This week was a recap of what Psi Chi is about, how to join, and what we will be up to this semester. Schedule for Spring 2018 2/7/18 - Get Psyched! I: REU Informational Night: Learn more about summer research opportunities and how to apply. 2/14/18 - Love Your Selfie Social: Create DIY Self Care Boxes and take pictures in our Instagram frame! FULL MEMBER APPLICATIONS DUE. 2/21/18 - Discover Your True Personality: Take some very legitimate and accurate personality tests to discover your true personality. LAST DAY TO TURN IN NATIONAL AND CHAPTER DUES. 2/28/18 - Psychology in Pop Culture: Discover the psychology of pop culture. 3/7/18 - Social Psychology and the Psychology of Relationships: Learn more about social psychology and how we develop attachments to people. EXECUTIVE BOARD APPLICATIONS OPEN. 3/14/18 - Get Psyched! II: All About Graduate School: Talk to undergraduate and graduate students about how to find graduate programs for your interests and the steps you need to take to apply and be accepted! 3/21/18 - Elevator Pitches + Tie Dye: Hear from the applicants for the 2018-2019 Psi Chi Eboard and get creative with colors to make some tie dye t-shirts. EXECUTIVE BOARD APPLICATIONS DUE BEFORE GENERAL MEETING. 3/28/18 - SPRING BREAK, NO MEETING. Voting opens for 2018/2019 Eboard. 4/4/18 - Mock Research Symposium: Get some practice presenting in front of friends before presenting at the Undergraduate Research Symposium. If you have a project, paper, or presentation you want to practice presenting, join us to get some experience! FINAL DAY TO VOTE FOR THE NEW EBOARD. 4/11/18 - Get Psyched! III: GRE: Review topics and learn tips and tricks to beat the GRE! 4/18/18 - Outdoor Yoga + Painting the Rock: Meet us at the KSU rock to paint some Psi Chi colors as well as learn some new yoga moves to relax and de-stress before finals. 4/25/18 - Study Pajama Coffee Night: Join us in your PJ's to prepare for finals and enjoy some snacks! 5/2/18 - End of the Year Luau: Help us close out the year with some Hawaiian themed fun. Join us for food, games, crafts, and if we can talk the university into it, a pig roast!
